The local Gurdwara in Cambridge support the Sikh society in all we do.
Central Gurdwara, Khalsa Jatha
This Gurdwara, in Shepherd's Bush, London, was the first Gurdwara set up in the UK, and was set up by our alumnus, the first turban-wearing Sikh in Cambridge University, Sant Teja Singh.
Nishkam SWAT
Nishkam SWAT (Sikh Welfare Awareness Team) are an East London-based charity, who aim to provide support to areas of financial disadvantage, through schemes like workshops and langar.
Zero Hunger with Langar
Zero Hunger with Langar support communities around the world with support through providing langar, as well as support for these communities to build their own infrastructure to continue supporting themselves.
Sikh Assembly
Sikh Assembly are an organisation that aim to represent the needs and aspirations of British Sikhs through a single platform. They provide career advice, support Gurdwaras across the country, and have several other great initiatives to support communities across the UK.
Punjab Restaurant
Based in Covent Garden, the Punjab restaurant was the first north Indian restaurant in the UK, and continues to bring an element of Punjabi culture to the UK, over 70 years on.
